Free Trial Countdown Privacy Policy

Your data stays on your device. Here is exactly how it works.

Effective Date: September 16, 2026
🔒

1. Overview

Free Trial Countdown does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information.

This extension is a lead magnet for SubVault. It overrides your new tab page with a live countdown of your free trials so you can cancel before a trial converts into a paid charge.

📝

2. Data You Enter

The only data the extension handles is what you type in: the service name, the trial end date, and an optional charge amount with currency.

This data is stored locally on your device using Chrome's local storage (chrome.storage.local).

It never leaves your browser and is not accessible to SubVault or any third party.

🚫

3. No Analytics or Tracking

The extension includes no analytics, no tracking, no cookies, no advertising SDKs, no third-party code, and no remote scripts.

There is nothing in the extension that phones home or reports your activity.

🛡️

4. What We Do Not Collect

The extension does not collect personally identifiable information.

It does not collect financial or payment data, your location, your web history, or any communication content.

🤝

5. No Data Sharing

We do not sell, share, or transfer user data to third parties.

Because your data never leaves your device, there is nothing to share.

🗑️

6. Deleting Your Data

Deleting the extension removes the locally stored data.

You can also clear it at any time by removing the extension from Chrome or clearing your site data.

🔐

7. Permissions

The extension requests only the storage permission, used to persist your trial list locally.

It also overrides the new tab page. It requests no other permissions.
